Job Descripion:
We are looking for an experienced Payments Test Manager to lead end-to-end testing for critical banking payment systems. The role involves managing test strategy, execution, and delivery across complex payment platforms while working closely with business, technology, and vendor teams.
Own and deliver end-to-end test strategy for payments programs
Lead SIT, UAT, Regression, and Go-Live testing activities
Manage test planning, test cases, defect lifecycle, and reporting
Coordinate with business stakeholders, developers, vendors, and offshore teams
Ensure compliance with regulatory and banking standards
Drive automation strategy and ensure quality metrics are met
Provide clear status updates, risks, and mitigation plans to senior stakeholders
8+ years of overall testing experience, with 5+ years in Payments testing
Strong hands-on experience in:
SEPA, SEPA Instant, Faster Payments, SWIFT, CHAPS
ISO 20022 message formats (pain.001, pacs.008, pacs.002, etc.)
Proven experience as a Test Manager / Test Lead in banking programs
Strong knowledge of end-to-end payment flows
Experience with defect management tools (JIRA, ALM, etc.)
Excellent stakeholder communication and leadership skills
Experience with core banking or payment platforms (FIS, Finastra, Temenos, etc.)
Knowledge of regulatory compliance and reconciliation processes
Exposure to automation tools and CI/CD environments
