Role Senior Zuora Billing Technical Product Specialist

About

A Zuora Billing Technical Product Specialist focuses on supporting and enhancing Zuoras billing and subscription management platform This role requires strong technical knowledge of Zuoras functionalities particularly in billing payments and integrations along with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions The specialist works closely with customers engineering teams and other stakeholders to ensure the successful implementation configuration and ongoing optimization of Zuora for various clients

Key Responsibilities

Configure and maintain the Zuora Billing platform including product catalogue pricing structures rate plans subscriptions workflows and notifications

Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Zuora integrations and billing logic including root cause analysis and longterm solutions

Support seamless integration of Zuora with upstream and downstream systems such as CRM ERP payment gateways and tax engines

Utilise Zuora RESTSOAP APIs and data query tools for reporting automation and workflow optimisation

Act as the internal product expert on Zuora Billing functionality advising on platform capabilities and best practices

Translate business requirements into functional specifications and technical configurations within Zuora

Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation including billing processes data flows configuration guides and training materials

Planning and conducting collaborative workshops to engage stakeholders

Skills

Certified in SCRUM or SAFe Scaled Agile Framework

Experience or Certified in Zuora and SaaS platforms

Analytical and critical thinking

Active listening

Consulting experience

Strong stakeholder management

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Ability to lead teams and collaborate with all stakeholders

Experience in requirements gathering use cases documentation business analysis systems design and integration user interface design and implementation

Experience in data analysis conversion and migration interfaces and reports

Experience with system design using configuration andor customization integration testing and support

Experience in delivering end to end solutions through the entire SDLC right from running the client facing workshops design build test deployment UAT and handover

Strong expertise in QuotetoCash CPQ and Billing implementations

Technical knowhows

Ability to provide deep knowledge on Zuora Technical and Functional capabilities ensure the effective use of the platform conduct the impacts analysis advise on best practices

Experience 10 years in technical roles with 5 years of handson experience in Zuora Billing and Subscription Management

Strong expertise in QuotetoCash CPQ and Billing implementations

Experience in integration needs and data requirements between Zoura and ERP CRM systems and other downstream systems of the business

Demonstrated ability to manage complex workflows and configurations in Zuora
